Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by ShortlistTrace.

Public website crawling

When you submit a company domain, ShortlistTrace may fetch publicly accessible website pages in order to understand the business and generate buyer-question panels. The crawler is identified as ShortlistTraceBot and is described on our crawler page.

Service providers

We use infrastructure and service providers to operate ShortlistTrace, including hosting, authentication/database services, payment processing and AI measurement providers. Data may be processed by those providers as necessary to deliver the service.

Retention

We retain account, audit and billing records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain historical comparisons, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary by data type.
